Do you believe in strong public schools?
The San Francisco Education Fund does. So do the 500 city and corporate leaders, school staff and community members who gathered together on September 22 to show their support of San Francisco public schools.
San Francisco student alumni, teachers, principals and community shared their stories of how the Education Fund’s programs made a difference in their lives and impact public education.
You can help strengthen public schools too.
Invest in Our Innovative Programs
Every dollar we raise helps support Ebony, the Bret Harte Elementary School 5th grade class and the 56,000 students in San Francisco public schools.
Yes we can strengthen our public schools—thanks to your support. We have nearly reached our $500,000 goal for the Back to School Lunch. Help us cross the finish line.
Share Your Career Experience
Inspire the next generation. Career speakers help middle and high school students answer the question, “How are the classes I’m taking now relevant to real life?”
As a career speaker, share your career experiences during career exploration classes and on career days. During your presentation, you will describe a day-in-the-life of your profession, which school subjects you use at work and explain what schooling you needed after high school (e.g. college, vocational, apprenticeship) to prepare you for your job. Sessions are 20 minutes long but have the power to change young people’s educational paths significantly impacting their futures.

Enlist Your Business
We match your organization’s core values and competencies with the programs of the San Francisco Education Fund. We develop partnerships with corporations at single school sites and across the district to leverage your assets and expertise to address school needs.
Does your employer offer a matching gift program? This is a great way to extend your gift or volunteer hours. If you are unsure contact your HR department.
