Celebrity Waiter Dinner

On December 9, 2009, our Celebrity Waiter Dinner brought together an amazing group of Bay Area CEOs and Philanthropists who served their very generous guests a delicious meal prepared by Chef Bernd Liebergesell, at the Westin St. Francis Hotel on Union Square.
Vying for tips all evening the Celebrity Waiters sang songs, revealed tattoos, sold family recipes, concocted exotic drinks, performed gymnastic feats, rollerbladed, danced, sold forks and knives, plates, and glasses, all in an effort to secure funny money tips needed to add to the funds secured for the evening.
Almost $300,000 was raised, with more coming in daily. All proceeds will directly support students and teachers in our San Francisco public schools through San Francisco Education Fund programs.
