Be a leader at your school. Each year Peer Resources trains over 1,000 young people to serve as resources to over 15,000 students. Peer Resources programs currently exist in over 20 high schools and middle schools in San Francisco. If you attend a public school in San Francisco and are in grades 6-12 you can apply to become a peer leader.To find out if Peer Resources training is available at your school, call 415.920.5211. There are various ways to get involved with the Peer Resource Program:
- Become a mentor
- Facilitate support groups
- Become a conflict manager
- Present workshops
