In addition to core programs, Peer Resources also offers a number of special projects including school fairs, conferences, murals, multicultural clubs, and school and community change projects.
Coming this December:
Youth Are Resources, or YAR, is a conference for and about student peer helping. YAR believes young people turn to each other first for guidance, education, and inspiration on issues that matter the most to them. Most workshops are designed by and for high school youth and their adult allies. Examples of important topics addressed are violence prevention, health education, healthy relationships, and youth rights. This year's YAR conferences is on December 5 at Fort Mason.
