Peer Resources
San Francisco Peer Resources believes in youth as leaders in their communities, allies for their peers, and part of the solution to the problems facing public education. We provide the training and support necessary for youth to be leaders in their own lives, schools, and communities.

Our Goals
Peer Resources offers a variety of programs for San Francisco Unified School District students. Ranging from conflict mediation to peer counseling, the overall goals of these programs are to:
- Promote academic achievement in students.
- Prevent violence through personal conflict management or mediation.
- Build skills and give information that encourages healthy living habits.
- Provide counseling or referral services as needed.
- Encourage students to develop leadership and organizational skills.
Our Impact
After Participating in Peer Resources, students reported statistically significant increases in school engagement, connectedness to school, sense of school as a community, leadership, self-efficiency/optimism, belief in their ability to make a difference in their community, and increased positive relationship with their peers.
